It is always better to keep everything clear and equal... especially in relationship...
I've learnt today that when one party keeps giving and the other party keeps receiving, dissatisfaction and discontent will sooner or later arise, no matter how loving they are...

The reason I say so is because there is no equilibrium in this giving and taking...And to have a healthy relationship, both parties need to give and take in equally... So, don't just take nor just give blindly...

I used to think that receiving from my other half is okay because that's a show of love and care. However, I realized today that it is not the case. When problems arise or when arguments take place, it will become one of the topic to be discussed. And guess who will have the upper hand? Of course the giving party. Why? I bet you know the answer. The giving party will just blame that the receiving party that "you are SELFISH!". And that's it. You have nothing to say if you are on the receiving end.

Therefore, I learnt that it is better to be clear and equal especially when monetary issue takes place. Whether it is everyday's spending when we go out together or receiving gifts from you other half, be sure to be equal so that no one is to be blame when comes to the topic of who gives more and who being more selfish than the other. A very good example is as below:

A: Don't talk about others. Look at yourself. You can't even take care of yourself. <--- personal attack out of no where, or perhaps out of frustration...
B: Who say so?! I will earn more money from now on so that I can buy (so so so and so.....) <--- dream big

A: (Sigh) I think I need to save up too. So stop using your "never bring wallet" excuse everyday. <--- accuse B for being selfish (+ stingy, sort of)...
B: .... (speechless)

(the discussion goes on and on revolving around issues of selfishness and human's nature...and end with the following line)

A: Don't know how your mind is thinking...... I think you will act very selfish too when you have no choice..... <--- again accusing others
B: .... (speechless again) <--- never thought that the person next to him will spill out those harsh words onto his face directly...

A walks away leaving B speechless by his own...

I'll choose be more alert from now on when comes to this issue of give and take. As human by nature is selfish to some extent, some will act selfishly in their everyday life while some other will just spilled out words that reflects their selfishness (if they don't act it out). In short, as I mentioned in the previous post, be independent and don't rely on anyone of anything :)

This is one of the song which was in my favorite list for soooo long. I like her mesmerizing and sexy voice and the meaningful lyric so much.

Usually we keep thinking what will be the end result of everything we do or involve in. However, the most important aspect of it, which is the journey is often forgotten. Why are we so obsessed with the ending? If we learnt to enjoy the journey, it will be wonderful too, right? If the end results are out of our control, let's just focus on things that we can control! As saying goes, lives NOW, not the past nor the future. When the ending comes, be it to our expectations or not, at least we had some enjoyable moments to be kept as memories. Of course everyone wishes for a happy ending, and if it does come, it will be an extra add-on! But when it's not the case, then you are still leftover with the good feelings and memories which you go through!

So, from now on, let us work hard while enjoying the journey :)

lessons learnt...

Lesson of the day... be independent! hehe... Guess why I say so? Well, if you are not, then you are limiting yourself to the one you are depending... be it career or personal life. If you want to have full control of it, try to make yourself independent and self sufficient. That way, you can explore the bigger world! Don't ever restraint yourself to any limitations!

I've come to realize that depending anyone for anything is kinda suck (big time). When troubles come and everyone care for their own, you will be in big mess! No one is gonna care for me as much as I do myself... (well, maybe my family members will, hehe) Afterall, that's human nature. Everyone for themselves :)

Apart from that, another lesson learnt is don't assume everything you see is the reality. Illusion and reality are sometimes mixed and confused as they can be easily manipulated. Be more assertive and alert...!

Another lesson learnt will be, things won't remain unchanged forever...And when they changed, you have to flow with it. Be it to your preference or not, you have no choice. Don't ever stay in status quo as it only makes you lose your competitiveness over time when everything surrounding you are changing or improving!

To cut everything short, control your life yourself!

well, things might sound so gloomy from my perspective, but that's what I learnt :)

Oh ya, I just received the 'behind the scene' photos of the photoshoot which I did with Christopher Lee as his son yesterday! Haha... it was a fun session...

a regular day...

Got up on 11 am today. It's still quite early (you guess) if you know me well. Haha.. well, that's one of the changes over time that happened. No more sleeping too much! No more after 12pm! :P

Been pretty laid back this few days... usually, I wake up on 9am+ or 10am+ and prepare to start my boutique. But I needed a break desperately, so I'm taking it easy... Less stressful and more time to think about everything ... been pretty tiring and exhausted after going through so much...

Did I tell you my mum got a minor accident at her workplace? Yes, she slipped down and got head injury. When she called me crying, I was so nervous and worried! Rush to her workplace and bring her to the clinic... and guess what... the doctor advised us to go A&E of Tan Tock Seng Hospital!! jezz... Luckily after everything done, X-ray and such.... she is all fine now... Up and running! hehe.. thank god for that..!

Back to my life... on a regular day, I would wake up, wash up... and prepare to go to work! What's my job now? Well, I have to go 'see see look look' (as chinese saying) at the boutique! :) When I'm there, I'll go around, clean up the mess and dirt which are piling up so FAST!.. sweep the floor... and tadaa it's ready for business... sit & wait for my first customer of the day... during which I will do some workout - push ups, roll and roll the floor rolling thingy.. (sorry, I don't know what it's name, haha) ...and rest around, surf the net to see what's new in the world...! when the clock ticked to 7pm, I'll pack everything, and go off! You might think why a retail shop closes that early.. so let me tell ya... I'm just lazy! hehe...

On the evening, well, there is no fixed schedule on what to do... either head straight home to rest, or go walking around.. Nothing really interesting to do in Singapore! -_-! don't you agree?! perhaps it's my small social circle... but I'm quite satisfy with this kinda lifestyle :P

It's time! Back to blogspot after a year of hiatus. A lot of things going on lately with no where to voice out my feelings, I figured out that blog is one of the way to do so :) at least I still have this small little space of my own..

Now based in Singapore.. for almost a year now since my last update.. A lot of changes happened, be it good or bad and every changes helped me to be a better man than I was before.. And mostly are the perspective on how I view things (at least I think so)..

Left modelling for a while now or I may say doing it in a part time basis.. Focused more on the new (half year old) fashion boutique targeting ladies markets.. Never thought that I would involve in this kind of industry before that.. But, I'm in it now.. So, come what may!

Will update on a regular basis from now on.. So, you who are interested to know more may stay tune!

It has been a long long time since I last updated the blog. Well, too many things happened and I'm busy with LIFE.

At last, I have spare time to really sit down, looking at the raining sky and flashing back my memories to share with you guys out there. Perhaps, it is a sign that I have let go of something which I'm so engaged with last few months. Make a guess what it is? :P

I'm now in Singapore and it has been almost a month here. Signed with a local agency, AVE. I'm soon going back to Hong Kong. Planned on mid-April. I have to really work hard to pick up everything which I left on hold. No more laid back mood from now on! :) time to be serious and work hard for my future!

Even though few months sound like a very short period of time in one's lifetime, I have learnt and experienced a lot in the last one. Learnt to care less on what's not important and focus on what you should do! Embrace who you are and be yourself. Put yourself as a subject on the first place whenever you are making a decision as it is the only thing which you can control.

One said I behaved like a Persian CAT (!) that only care for myself, do things on my own and don't give a f*** on what others are thinking about me. Well, to a certain extent, that is true. It is just a way of self protection, I suppose. I don't express all my feelings out because feelings are meant to be feel and not told. I would rather be seen as a less expressive lamp post rather than dramatic disco bling bling lasers.

as the title says, there's no star tonight ... =(
i still remember that night, the night when i'm with my dumb group in redang island... all of us laying down on the beach enjoying the chilling sea breeze and gazing on MILLIONS of shining shiny little starsssssssssss in the dark dark sky.. ahhh, that's such a paradise... i miss those moments a lot... =\ good friend is hard to come by.. yet to say a GROUP of them !!! uhhh uhhh...

well, lets move on.. everyone got their own life so do I.. keeping in touch will be the best thing we can do and occasionally a gathering.. even though the time spent together is so much shorter nowadays but it still means a lot for me.. hee hee...

december should be one of everyone's favourite month I guess.. at least for me.. I get to celebrate xmas, forget about the bads of 2009 and appreciate the good ones.. while eagerly waiting for 2010's adventures!! get to reflect on what I had achieved, what I had missed, what need to be change, what need to be improve and bla bla bla bla... self improvement is one of the best investment you can ever made... i said that and i'm STRESSING it again now! make yourself better in 2010 (you!! Diva B!!)

hmmmm.... what else... oh ya, I just received a call from my agent... I got another TVC shooting coming this Friday the 18th.. that would be so AWESOME to end my 2009!! I bet that will be the last job for me before my holiday mood is turn ON! woooohooooo~~

It's winter again in HK.. Been here for 9 months now... from the "Wah" & "Wow" to now, "Hmm" & "Okayyy" haha, don't get me wrong. it's not like nothing exciting, just lesser :P however, i believe, HK still has a lot to offer!

Oh ya, what you guys did last Halloween? For me, I've party non stop for dayssss. Hehe, unleash the inner beast of myself and just go all in. :P I've got the worst hangover of the year last weekend for continuously 12 hours of parties in different scenes...! so hardcore right? haha.. Look, i'm so drunk! but as a camera-sensitive me, I still manage to get a good snap out of it, haha... :P

One funny thing is I went to the Halloween Night @ Ocean Park! I'm not a theme park kinda person but got some free tickets from a friend. So.. why waste it!? Just go and have fun!! It was a little (so damn) scary and thrilling at the same time! Those stupid, lame and ugly ghosts managed to freak me out a few times in the ghost house. But but, still the roller coaster from Genting is much more fun than the one in Ocean Park !! Hahaha..it was all good hanging out with a group of buddies loosing all your stress...

halloween is over... now let's just wait for Chirstmas. Well, I'm eagerly waiting for my coming Taipei trip next week! Needed a break badly to get away from all the stress building up :P I do have stress too ok... it's not like all glamorous as you might think... haha..

A friend of mine tagged me in facebook for the ad which he saw in the MTR stations. So for those who haven't see it, here it is. It's for the MTR Club latest promotion. I don't understand chinese, so no translation. Lol... Something related to transportation to Mainland China. Note the "red, white, blue" bag. So Chinaman style right? They modernize it into a briefcase-like to match the handsome guy in the poster of course! hahaha :P

Before leaving to Taipei next week, I'll be doing a TVC for McDonald's again! Hooorrraayy!! I love McDonald's and they love me too! haha... Update you guys later on that part after the shooting. :)

Hi everyone,

Had been away from this space of mine for quite sometime...

getting pretty lazy to update perhaps... haha...

Well, I'm now in SG for a week! Came back to celebrate my mum's birthday! :) LOVE her so much!! Had a blast celebrating with her... we were singing birthday songs at home on the evening and follow up with a dinner at Raffles Place mall.. then we went to Singapore Flyer and Merlion's!! hehe.. travelling around, laughing together and seeing my whole family filled with joy, it's just overwhelming..cherished the moments spent together with my family especially with my mum :)

The very next day, we had our SHANG YEE or better known as my mama-san in town!! haha... it is like we have shifted our gathering from KL to SG. haha... wish others are here as well :) we spent whole day in Vivo city, chit chatting, being lame and playful like kidssssss :P it's always fun to have a gang of friends who are all supportive and caring.. :) although our friendship was not long but our bonds are so much stronger than you can guess :P that proved one thing, be sincere and treat others like what you want to be treated...3 of us had so much memories, good and bad, back in Sunway :P haha... without them, i will not be who i am today and the same goes to them I guess? Wonder who will come next to SG.. YL? Ah Nah?

Well, I'm not going to talk about my work now.. I'm on a holiday! (for a week, at least) :P

Haha, as the title says, I'm STILL alive!! :)

Done a few photoshoots and went to a talk show.

First off, done a newspaper editorial for Oriental Daily, the Father's Day edition. Too bad I couldn't manage to get hold of those photos published. Will try to retrieve them and share with you guys. :) (Edit: Ok, there they are. Got them from my agency. Muacks!)

Later on, did another editorial for "Face" Magazine which will suppose to be out today. Went to the book stand around my house after work just now but couldn't get hold of any! Out of stock! Zzzz... will try to go again tomorrow, hoping that uncle will restock. (Edit: Got it from my agency, save the trouble of buying!!)

Next up is a fashion catalog shot in GuangZhou for StarBoyz. The outfit was for Fall/Winter 09 collection. It was a super efficient shooting I must say. We, the 4 models, manage to change almost 40+ outfits each in just 4 hours shooting time. Haha!! Bravo everyone!!

After that, was invited as a model guest to join a talk show for the channel J2 of TVB - 愛情研究所 for their episode 65 & 66. It was fun! Pretty relaxing and we get to eat all day long while chatting on topics given by the MCs, Cyrus and Miki.

Yes i'm back to HK ... a place where I can call home ... where I can sleep naked, run around like an idiot and dance like a chicken everywhere with the music loudly on. I miss this feeling!!

on jokes aside, I've been to Shanghai to do a Fashion Catalogue for Fall/Winter 2009 collection of MoGao. At first I was like... MoGao?? What's that? Lol.. I'm suprise when I see their clothing line. It was purely awesome! The team did a great job putting the pieces together and selling it!! I'm in love with every single style. 27 of them in total; 14 for me and 13 for the cute lady...

hi guys,

It has been a while since I last updated but here you go...

There are lots of things happened in the month of May. First off, it is my birthday month and thanks for all the wishes you guys sent to me be it via sms, hp call or facebook. Every single one means something for me. Sorry if I never reply to any of the sms sent to my SG no. as I'm not using it when I'm in HK. :)

Apart from celebrating my birthday, there are also mother's day and my sister's birthday. Being a good son/brother (lol), I always planned ahead on how to celebrate with them. However, things came up last minute and screwed up all my plans. Nevertheless before it is too late (the month of May ends), I managed to free up some time, got back to SG to meet up and did a small small celebration with them, hehe... yay! The feeling you got when you're back home is priceless. You felt so comfortable, laid back and relax. The care they shower upon you, the love and the joy will never be replaceable by anything in the world I would say. All those things immediately rejuvenate you, charging your battery FULL! :P

That's everything from my private life worth mentioning. The rest is just..... I'm sure you won't want to know, haha...

Next up is on my job, and if you're not interested, then you may leave. I'm saying this because there are some recent comments which are offensive and rude. I'm not sure who are they and what's their intentions but one thing for sure, it doesn't matter much to me anyway :P As far as I know, I live a happy life and I love and proud to be myself. That's all it matters to me and everyone around me. I repel negative energy easily, lol...

Those previous shoots that I've done last month are up and on the street/tv. Men's Biore is up on MTR (MRT?), bus stops and some local magazines while McD Tvc speaks by itself, on Tv thats it. If you haven't but wanted to see it, then here you go....

Sorry for leaving you so long my dear blog...
Please forgive my laziness...
I'm pretty much occupied with jobs, castings, outings and gaming!! :P

Did a McDonald TVC last week together with Sarah and a few extras in Megabox, Kowloon. We thought we will shoot after the outlet close down but no, they're still in operation. Well then, of course there was a lot of people STARING at us. It was a fun experience and I was laughing so loud looking at Sarah eating so many burgers that I've lost count, haha.. :P I know I'm bad...

On the weekend, Hannah came to Hk! I was busy most of the days when she was here but managed to meet up with her for a night. We went to the peak together with another friend of her. Due to the poor weather, the mist is thick and we couldn't see a thing there :( So we only have fun in the wax museum, Madame T....

Hi people...

I went back to Singapore for a break last week...

Now that I'm back to Hong Kong, it's time to get back to work... :)

Did a print job for Sony Style HK last month and received a photo just now from the lovely lady, Ah Pam.. Thanks!! (She said more to come when those new products are launched. So, I'm looking forward to it!! and yes, those new gadgets are indeed very cool!! :P)

My mandarin is not very good. So don't ask me to translate what's in the article. Lol... :P All I know is.. this TV is damn cool. It can detect the motion of it's audience as one of it's best features. Say when you move away from your living room and it detected no one is watching, it will go into sleeping mode. And when you're done and back sitting, it will automatically play. Cool right?

Hong Kong is a place where I love and hate it at the same time. I love the people I worked with - their friendliness and warmth for me, the shopping places of course and not to forget my lovely friends... At the same time, I hate the weather. I feel uncomfortable at times due to the humidity. And because of this, I need to pay extra care to my face to prevent the massive breakouts invasion..! But overall, I still love Hong Kong. It's the Pearl of Asia afterall!! :P

at last...! a free day to slow down my pace, sleep like a pig, be lazy at home and also to unpack my luagage (yes, they're still in solid pieces untouched since my arrival -_-)...

was very busy with castings and shootings over the last few days... and the worst thing was, I got fever after coming back from macau

when things suddenly free up, I tend to lost direction and just spend the day watching tv, listening to music, surfing the net, playing computer games and do some other vain stuffs which you don't wanna know... hehe... that's so typical of me - the lazy and boring jason :P

and not to forget, to camwhore for a while before going out for lunch, haha :P

*sigh so many things to tidy up... this is when you wish your maid is with you... arhhgggrrr help me!

**and the usual me will just dump the whole luagage into the cabinet and forget about it* hehe... and i'm going to do that, that's me! that's Jason! :P

***for an update, my skin is slowly getting better (at least not so dry and tight) after drinking LOTSA LOTSA water...Victor told me to drink 3 litres daily (2 large coke bottles? lol..) and i'm like, ok.. im going to follow since you are the living proof of mr smooth skin! haha...

do you know...

for every cup of coffee you drink, you will need to slurp in extra 4 glasses of water to keep your skin from dehydration...

already not drinking enough water which suppose to be 8 glasses daily but i think i'm drinking about 5 glasses a day? ... plus a cup of coffee that will dehydrate your face causing tightness and dryness...

jeezz.. now i know why my face is so screwed up... must be from all the starbuck'ing

Current condition:

T-zone : oily and congested...

Other : dehydrated...

In short : i'm pretty screwed up ? -_-!!

Solution:

1. start drinking lotsa water...

2. use a BLOODY sunblock spf 15 and above...

3. start putting on hydrating masque everyday

4. stop being a night crawler...

well the list can goes on for some other people.. but for me, these are the four i need to do.. :P

but is my skin that badddddd.....??? no right?! please tell me no...

ok, time to stop being so vain...

Finally, after so many many many months, instead of looking at our old photos, I decided to drive back to KL and called everyone to come out for a gathering!! heh.. everything feels so great with them around... thanks for sparing me your precious time... :) :)

They are the ones that standing side by side with you, showering you with love and care and no matter what happened, they never leave your behind...

weekends are always great...
a time to catch up with some friends...
some pretty new ones and some really close one.. :)

went to Giraffe with Victor, my buddy from KL.. knew this guy for 3 years+ and he haven't even intro his gf to me yet... haha... at last got to meet up with this beautiful lady, Vivian, in Singapore :) a very nice catch up session with them..filled with never ending laughter during that few hours of dinner.. recalled back all the nice, sweet and even the bad memories we had in KL together with the other S-members.. really miss those days a lot a lot... heh.. glad to know everyone is still living a happy life :)

Missing those old days....
when we saw each other during the interview days (stage 1, 2, 3.. yay!! hired! :P),
when we met each other again during the orientation day,
when we are so green in S group..
when we're not close to each other during GIAD,
until we're so damn squeezed to each other on S-Hotel 'working' room,
when we're sneaking out for snacks in the hotel canteen,
when we're so stressed out towards the end of our project deadline,
when we're freaking out during our final presentation,
when we're celebrating each other birthdays,
when we're celebrating farewell with our mama Patricia,
when we're going into separate subsidiaries,
when we're sharing the ups and downs about our jobs,
when we're doing farewell for those leaving S-group,
when we're meeting up again during gathering,

as time flies, we've lost touch but i know our long lasting friendship wont just fade away over time...even 10, 20 or 30 years down the road, we are still best friends and we will still smile together, laugh together and care for each other...

i miss you people the most !!

Also went to Batam with a gang of SQs... haha.. :) it was a pretty relaxing trip.. though we have got no idea where to go but managed to visit a few places, temples and.. wat wat barelang bridge?, get a full body massage and ate some seafood before leaving.. heh, nice getaway!

Back Home...

After a 3 weeks in Hong Kong, I am back to Singapore with luggage exceeding the allowable weight and got charged HKD 380! damn it...

Wonder why I went there for so long? Well.. it was for holiday, work and of course to run away from the usual Chinese New Year visiting. Haha...

Supposedly, I was to stay in the model house during this trip. However, due to the messy environment, I ran to my friend's place at Mid Level. To my surprise, the house is totally amazing and I'm deeply in love with it (I love house deco)! Guess what, the thing I like most in the house apart from all those antique clash with modern decoration is the toilet!

The toilet is fully transparent with a huge bathtub. Love the concept! The door back there leads to the changing room with closets and wardrobes.

Hong Kong was fun! Meeting up with some old friends and making some new ones. Went to lots of places but mostly are for shopping, namely Causeway Bay, Tsim Tsa Shui, Mong Kok, Central and etc. Also went to Ocean Park, Lamma Island, Wong Tai Sin, and other places which I couldn't recall. Some random photos.

On the working side, apart from the scheduled jobs, I went to two modeling agencies which claimed to be among the top agencies in HK, Elite Model Management and Starz People for casting. Both offered me a contract and I'd been having headache over which to choose for the longest time. At last, I've chosen Elite. (hope i made the right choice!).

After meeting up with Patryk and Norm during a job and got some feedback on my portfolio (models book) by them saying that it is too commercial, I requested them to do a test for me and direct me into the fashion world to add some spice into my book. Glad that they agreed to help out this poor soul here and so, I did a test shoot at Studio8 with Norm Yip (photographer), Patryk Chaou (fashion stylist) and last but not least, Summer Lai (makeup artist). The photos turned out great! Kudoss to them for doing the test for me. My portfolio seriously lacks of fashion style photos. Here are some photos for your preview.
